Nikita Lamar, Esq.

Attorney & Entrepreneur

Nikita Lamar, founder of Lamar Legal Group, PLLC, draws from her upbringing in Montgomery, Alabama, to fuel her passion for business ownership and community service. Raised by entrepreneurial grandparents, Allen and Amanda Bibb, Nikita's journey took her to Tennessee State University, where she earned a B.S. in Political Science.

Her career in the non-profit sector, focusing on Breast Cancer, Infant Mortality, and HIV, showcased Nikita's empathy and resilience. As a Compliance Coordinator, she managed complex operations and negotiated contracts with government agencies.

Nikita's practice centers on preserving clients' legacies, reflecting her deep understanding of the legal and emotional challenges they face. 

As a member of the Family Law and LGBTQIA+ sectors of the State Bar of Texas, and Collaborative Divorce Texas, Nikita advocates for diverse communities. Beyond law, she enjoys cooking gourmet meals for restaurants and private gatherings.

Founder @ Black Women Owned

A. Walton Smith is the Founder and CEO of Black Woman Owned. She considers herself a personal hype woman for Black women and especially for budding and fortified business owners. As a wife, mother, marketing strategist, and entrepreneur, she understands how difficult it can be to create a business from scratch. Not to mention playing every role and have to market the product or services. BWO not only serves as a place to find Black Woman Owned businesses but a marketing tool for those same businesses. is just the beginning.
